Dr. Rachel Ward-Maxwell received her Ph.D. in astrophysics from McMaster University. During her academic career she has consistently developed new and interesting outreach initiatives, such as within the York University Astronomical Observatory and Sidewalk Astronomy with McMaster University. She is now the Research/Programmer for Astronomy and Space Science at the Ontario Science Centre, and among other programs, manages the Centre's Research Live! Program.
