Leigh Paulseth is the Enrichment and Outreach Coordinator at SciXchange. She has a passion for communicating environmental and scientific issues to the public and loves to engage learners of all ages in actions and activities to better our understanding of this world. Leigh has a B.Sc. in conservation biology from the University of Western Ontario and Master of Resource and Environmental Management from Dalhousie University. She has worked for several environmental non-profit organizations before joining the Faculty of Science and loves studying biodiversity and evolution.  With her experience engaging youth and community members in environmental action she has put her science communication skills to work to promote STEM and educational opportunities for Ryerson and the community. This Spring, she coordinated the first North American Soapbox Science event, involving over 20 volunteers and 12 speakers.
